Each stone tells its own story and carries its own energy.
While some of the stones I select are smooth and almost “flawless”, others show cracks and uneven-ness, a tale of their journey.
As in our lives – rarely perfect and stable, our character carved by the experiences and journeys that have shaped us.
1. Please take a look through the gallery on the Home/Gallery page. Each section is divided into collections, and if you hover over the picture, there is a name assigned to each design.
2. You can choose the size, the colours and a design that speaks to you. All totally customized. Perhaps there are qualities that you are looking to attract or magnify in your space? ie: grounding, protection, safety, calmness, joy, peace, creativity, confidence, truth, intuition, love, wisdom etc.
*Colour Therapy is a natural therapy tool which uses colours to restore or promote energy balances. This therapy dates back thousands of years to the ancient cultures of Egypt, China and India. In the seventeenth century, Sir Isaac Newton developed the colour wheel using visible colours of the spectrum. However, thousands of years ago the Egyptians used Colour Therapy for healing and the Hindu Chakra Rainbow Colour Therapy system evolved. This associates a specific colour to each Chakra or energy centre, creating an inner harmony.

*As all the stones are unique, what you see in the picture may differ slightly from your finished piece.
*These stones are treated with several layers of outdoor sealer and are weather protected, should you wish to keep them outside. However, it is advisable to bring them in for the winter and house them indoors!

They serve to give you an idea of design and colour options in order to give you inspiration for your own unique mandala. You choose the size, the colours, the design and the intention. All totally customized!
2. "What do you mean by "intention"?"
Perhaps there are qualities that you are looking to attract or magnify in your space? What is your intention for your room? ie: grounding, protection, safety, calmness, joy, peace, creativity, confidence, truth, intuition, love, wisdom, vitality, passion etc.
Each mandala, in its combination of colours and design elements has a different effect in a space. Some people are looking to "liven up" a space, bring vitality, passion in - for example. Others maybe are looking for more calming, restorative and healing energy in the space.
I use a mixture of traditional colour therapy, and a knowledge of the chakra system (energy centres in the body) to guide colour choices based on these intention.
However, all that being said - some people just see a piece and say "yep - that one!" because it speaks to them. Other clients give me their decor colours or just their favourite colours - and we work with those.
